“We moved my parents to Woodland Court in 2009, drawn by the personalized and resident- focused family atmosphere, the friendly and caring staff, the beauty of the facilities, and the home’s mission of helping families help their loved one through their later years. Impressed from the start by Missi, Darrel, Debbie and their caregiving team’s ability to simplify our parents’ transition to assisted care, we have come to appreciate the staff’s ongoing ability to satisfy the variety of needs presented by the residents as they journey through the changing stages of their lives. To this day, we never cease to be amazed by how seamlessly these dedicated professionals meet their goals with unflagging love, compassion and concern.
Woodland Court’s peaceful, safe, and comfortable facilities are well-appointed, sparkling clean. and always tastefully decorated for the season: visiting Mom at any time of year in this gracious environment is like being welcomed to the hearth and home of a treasured family friend. Meals are “made-from-scratch” delicious, and tailored to individual dietary needs. Special enrichment activities such as musical performances and visits from hairdressers are regular occurrences, and weather permitting, residents can enjoy strolling the tree lined walkways of the lovely, landscaped wooded lot.
When “Uncle Tom” - my mother’s bachelor brother – needed help negotiating needs presented by his rheumatoid arthritis, my husband John and I suggested Woodland Court. Won over by the staff’s philosophy of service and the warm environment, Tom said the move became the best home he had ever had.”
